Vicki and Ben’s Wedding at Lingfield Park

Lingfield Park Racecourse is a great setting for a wedding. Hotel, large function rooms, interesting areas to explore and excellent staff. The rain relented enough for us to get plenty of outside shots!

Sam and Bryan – Wedding Photography at Islington Registry Office – 13th April 2012

Although based in the Midlands, Sam and Bryan decided to get married in London opposite the bar where Bryan had proposed – Islington Registry Office, following the footsteps of many celebrities, actually literally on this occasion as the wedding preceding theirs featured several stars from Coronation Street! Sam was wearing fantastic personalised Converse boots; also ideal for the walk I inflicted upon them to some ‘nearby’ gardens! I really enjoyed sharing the day with them and their friendly family.

Tea, Paul and Nicholas – engagement shoot

Some couples like an informal engagement shoot to get them used to being photographed before the big day. Tea and Paul brought along their son to Combe Woods for an hour in the sunshine.

Although I wished I had my proper cameras with me when I saw this, the iPhone did a great job. Dedicated to Steve Jobs :)

Mary and Sam’s wedding February 2012

Starting at Saint John The Evangelist church in Shirley, the sun came out to greet Mary and her father arrive in a vintage style car. After the ceremony we all went straight to The Warren, Hayes to capture all the formal group shots and a dedicated session for the couple. A caracaturist was on-hand with some excellent and funny drawings.  One highlight of the day was when Mary’s dad pulled out a drawing during his speech that she did for him when she was little, which drew much emotion all round. After the first dance a live band came on to get the party started.
Instead of a gallery, this time I created a slideshow for this blog. The music may not start straight away on the first viewing (on slower connections)
